Individual Counselling
I provide online individual counselling for adults. I offer clinical counselling for people who are going through a stressful time, like losing a loved one, or who have been suffering with mental health issues for years.
I offer counselling for those who want a deeper connection with a therapist to work out their history of complicated trauma, dysfunctional family dynamics, and mental health issues that affect your ability to function or work.
I teach Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy) skills to help people manage their emotions. I also offer a Psychodynamic therapeutic approach for people who want to work on long-term issues as a result of problems that have usually started from childhood experiences.
Sessions are 50 minutes on Zoom. I usually respond to your emails within 24 hours.
$140/session in BC and $90 US in Washington State.
Couples Counselling
Couples counselling can help both of you improve your relationship by teaching you how to effectively communicate and solve problems together. I use the Gottman Method as well as Emotion Focused Counselling which helps you both understand and clarify what your shared values are and how to can slowly learn to accept your differences. I also teach and emphasize communication by sharing feelings and needs. I help couples to slowly be able to be more vulnerable and in sync with your partner again for a more healthy, trustworthy connection.
Improving your relationship is something that takes work, but it’s worth it. Couples learn to change negative communication patterns with positive interactions to restore trust from past hurts.
Sessions are 50 minutes on Zoom.
$180/session in BC and $135 US for couple’s counselling.
