Thank you for visiting my website. It takes a lot of courage to seek help and ask for what we need. There are many counselling options out there and it is hard to know where to begin, but this is a great starting point.

I am a Registered Social Worker in British Columbia and received my Masters in Social Work at the University of Washington. I am American and Canadian. I have 24 years of clinical counselling experience in providing evaluations and therapy for individuals and couples.

I have recently expanded my private practice into Washington State. I have spent the last 11 years in BC. I spent 20 years in Seattle. I provide services exclusively through Zoom and I am able to see clients who live anywhere in BC and Washington State. I’m covered through most insurance plans in BC, but my services in Washington State are self-pay

I evaluate and treat people for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also help people struggling with life transitions, stress, poor self-esteem, relationship issues, infidelity, trauma, grief/loss and family problems. I have worked extensively with trauma survivors including survivors of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. I use a holistic approach and consider life events that bring people to counselling to be personal growth opportunities. I teach clients coping skills using primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

I spend my free time swimming, practicing yoga, and backpack travelling around the world. I’m interested in art, community organizing, sociology, and current events.
